A software company whose first rule is: write it down before you build it

Founded in 2017, Dongguan Ruyi Information Technology Co., Ltd. builds and delivers enterprise software. Our products cover discrete manufacturing, restaurant chains, trade and logistics, and appointment-based services — and every one of them can run on your own servers.

What we do

Dongguan Ruyi Information Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in May 2017 and is registered in the Shilong Modern Information Service Park, Dongguan. We build and deliver our own enterprise software; we do not resell anyone else's. As of today there are twenty products across four lines: the manufacturing suite (ERP, PLM, APS, MES, WMS, SRM); the restaurant suite (POS, self-service kiosks, TV menu boards, pickup call screens, store back office, chain operations console); AI and automation (workflow platform, Cantonese AI customer service, document intelligence, CAD inspection reports); and vertical platforms (online booking, task management, drone rental, lottery probability analysis).

They share a technology base and a set of integration contracts, so you can buy exactly one, or grow into the full suite. In practice customers do the latter — start where it hurts most, get it working, then grow outward.

How we work

Write it down before writing code. Every system starts with a written requirements and design document — business rules, interface contracts, permission model, failure scenarios and the database schema, spelled out and reviewed by the customer. Acceptance is then checked line by line against that same document, not against what people remember from a meeting.

SQL migrations are the single source of truth for the schema. We do not let an ORM generate the database. Every structural change is a reviewable, reversible migration script, and it is always obvious which version is running in production.

Keep the judgement calls human. We let AI do what it is good at, but approvals, releases and discounts need a person to sign — with a full audit trail that can be replayed afterwards.

No big-bang go-live. Old and new entry points coexist, switchover is gradual, and data migration comes with a rollback plan. We would rather take one more step than have a customer gamble on cutover day.

Technology and deployment

The backend is .NET 10 with Entity Framework Core 10 on PostgreSQL 18; the frontend is Vue 3 with Vite and TypeScript; mobile uses native Android, Capacitor or Flutter depending on the job. Multi-tenant systems use physically separate databases per tenant — different customers' data is never in the same database.

Deployment is either multi-tenant SaaS or on-premise. An on-premise install can run entirely offline with no dependency on an external service; systems run on Linux with systemd and nginx, and monitoring, backups, certificate renewal and the upgrade procedure are part of the handover.
